Charities

The chosen charities for the Digg Deep For Kids 2021 campaign are incredibly close to our hearts. Each year, we’re eager to broaden our reach, interact with new organisations and use the magic of this campaign to support as many families as possible. Have a look below at the three sensational charities that Digg Deep For Kids is supporting this year. This is where your contribution is truly appreciated and valued, and we cannot thank you enough.

Founded by Caroline O'Neill. In 2020, Digg Deep for Kids raised £102,000 in just over two weeks for Cash For Kids, Women's Aid and Children In Northern Ireland. This money was then turned into £250,000 worth of essentials for the charities by working with Influencers throughout Northern Ireland.

Last year, after raising an incredible £171,569.00...

...we were able to provide families with almost a half a million worth of good. The impact this has made on people’s lives is much too great to ever fully describe.

This year, we’re back again, with more determination, positivity and hope than ever before. Your donation, contribution and generosity can move mountains for families in your area.

So together, let’s spread some joy, change some lives and elevate our communities to new heights.

Digg Deep for your community, Digg Deep for its future, Digg Deep For Kids.

Cash For Kids and their Mission Christmas campaign was where this magical journey began in 2019, and it is here to stay for the third year in a row. This campaign gives us the opportunity to ensure every child wakes up to a present under their tree on Christmas day. With your help, we are able to buy a huge amount of high quality, brand new gifts and toys that will give children in Northern Ireland a Christmas they will never forget.

Cash For Kids also works all year round to improve the lives of vulnerable, disadvantaged children and young people who are effected by poverty, neglect, and illness, as well as those with additional needs.

We couldn’t be more proud to partner with this life-changing organisation and we’re determined to make this year's contribution bigger than ever.

We asking for donations of cash so we can buy what the charity needs but also if you would like to physically donate a gift then Cash For Kids have asked us to focus on. Please note –

Cash for Kids are often inundated with toiletries for this age category, so it would be better to avoid purchasing these. Cash For Kids organise bundles of £45 worth of gifts for each child – so try to keep that budget in mind when purchasing items for the campaign. Please note we CANNOT accept food (e.g. selection boxes).

Saint Vincent De Paul (SVP) continuously provides support, food, fuel and household items to families and children in need within our communities in Northern Ireland.

With over 1800 volunteers working tirelessly to support vulnerable families, we thought this charity was the perfect fit for our campaign. As well as providing much needed food parcels, fuel, blankets, clothes and hygiene products to those in need, SVP are also great advocates for home visits and have a constant warm presence within the community. When a community member engages with SVP, they feel important, safe and looked after, and that is why we’re so passionate about this partnership.

This Christmas here at Digg Deep For Kids, we are devoted to providing Saint Vincent De Paul with as many food items, household goods and fuel as we possibly can.

The smallest contribution can make a huge difference in the lives of those in need.

If you or someone you know is in need of support from Saint Vincent De Paul, please visit the link below for more information.

St Vincent De Paul no longer accepts physical donations therefore we are focusing the money which is raised on the cost of heating homes. Fuel has risen so dramatically and the effect of that will impact so many families.

We will use your money to set up a tab for SVP with an energy company and buy vouchers for gas top ups, food and electric. We will keep people warm this Christmas and throughout 2022/23.
